Welcome to Safe House

About Us

The Safe House is the first specialized shelter center for LGBTI+ victims of violence based on sexual orientation and/or gender
identity, who are at risk of homelessness. As a licensed provider of the social service temporary accommodation in a Center for
victims of gender-based violence by the Ministry of Social Policy, Demography, and Youth, the Safe House serves as a safe space for protection and support.
Our mission is to provide safety, support, and a dignified life for LGBTI+ people, by breaking the cycle of violence and creating 
conditions for their empowerment and integration into society.

Our Services

Although the shelter is currently not operating in the form of permanent accommodation,
the following services are available to beneficiaries:

🔹 Counseling and referral via the free helpline 0800 66 6 66

🔹Psychological support and assistance

🔹Support groups

🔹Accompaniment by a social worker to relevant institutions (social and healthcare services)

🔹Emergency accommodation

All services are free of charge and confidential.
